Hi, I’m Lizzie!

I have a passion for promoting and teaching positive healthy ageing to Australian seniors. Through over 40 years as a registered nurse and my practice and qualifications in yoga, I have developed techniques and programs that are accessible and specifically adapted to promote independence as we age.

Don’t rust up.

Often times, as we age, we become increasingly less active in our daily lives and let our bodies ‘rust up’. I use this phrase in my workshops and classes to highlight the changes that occur in the ageing body and how simple daily activities can reduce the effects of ageing.

Alongside my classes for seniors, I also extend my knowledge and experience to instruct yoga teachers and health facilitators. Through understanding the pathophysiological changes that occur during the ageing process, I conduct sessions and training for yoga teachers to understand modifications required in yoga practice for seniors.

I believe that the combination of knowledge and movement for seniors of all ages will result in positive health outcomes, increased vitality and healthy independence.
